Uberrime Splendid Dual-Density Dildo

My first uberrime splendid was several years ago, and when it recieved slight cosmetic damage (my fault, and doesn't affect the use) I took the opportunity to treat myself to a pink ombre colourway.
Splendid has made some upgrades! The base now has a logo to keep the curve facing where you want it, a slightly more defined bulbous top, and a sturdier base overall.
I favour silicone for it's heat-retaining, pleasurable squish, and uberrime's blend is smooth, non-sticky, and I always appreciate it's luxurious feel.
Try it suckered to another toy's base for a thrust-able handle, or stuck to an inside wall of the bathtub and make waves. It's pretty enough to take on the road and dependable, call it the last toy (of its dimensions) you'll ever need.

My first impression on receiving the box in the mail was actually concern. The box was a bit smaller than I expected. Unpack. Hrm... Is this going to be satisfying? I'm new to dildos but in person it's smaller than I expected.
Okay. Let's give the Splendid a go.
In the first use I learnt very quickly that it sticks a lot better to dry smooth surfaces and slips around on wet ones. It is much better to ride than hold and thrust. (Unwieldy to hold, hard to apply it with sufficient rigour I hold it, my hands lack stamina!) In couple play we noticed a tiny hole at the base of the shaft, which we suspect to be a tiny air bubble breaking through the surface from the silicone pouring process. I hope it doesn't affect the longevity of the product.
I wish that there was a spot with texture on the side of base (like a bump?) so I my partner could always know by feel how the dildo is oriented when it's in. End of criticsm.

Out of 6 I have ever owned this is definitely my favorite. I have had so many prostate orgasims using this toy its mind shattering. Its comfortable and has a great angle. Firm enough to really ride or thrust but flexible to slam comfortably deep. The suction cup works well and the toy is very pretty. If i where to nit pick i would only ask for an option slightly thicker but not as big as the large and for a bit more curve.

I just started my collection of toys, and I'm really impressed with this one! I really enjoy the double layered silicone - the outside is so soft and fun to squeeze, yet the inner core is firm enough to not lose its shape and curve. I started off the with "small" version of this and upgraded to this medium size, and it did not disappoint.

I knocked down a star for a few reasons - the silicone is pretty sticky, so it's easy to get lint on it and it can be draggy if you don't use a lot of lube. This is purely aesthetics, but I was also expecting an ombre effect of the colors based on what I've seen in picture/video reviews. Unfortunately, mine looks straight up white with the color concentrated mainly in the bulbous head - not much of a marbled look. That was really disappointing, since I paid the extra $10 to get the dual-colored version. I also wish the packaging was a bit more padded. Mine came in a thin bubble mailer, but I was expecting it to be wrapped with additional bubble wrap for more protection against other boxes and sharp corners.

Overall, I still recommend this one since I can't overlook how incredible the double-layered silicone feels. I'm definitely getting more from Uberrime.
