It’s alright. It feels closer to the real thing but for me it’s just too cold and hurts too much for it to feel good. I’m unsure why.
Hi! There are several ways to improve feel for 1st-time beginner dildo users:
1. Make sure you're using a good lubricant. If dry, or if you feel friction, apply a few more drops of lubricant. Water-based and hybrid lubricants are suitable with dual-density silicone.
2. Insert slowly. If you're stretching to a new size, or if new to penetration, you'll want to go as slow as you can - always stopping if you feel pain or even discomfort. The process will typically get easier over time, so that insertion is more comfortable within a few weeks.
If one continues to experience painful vaginal penetration with smaller toys after some time, they should seek the counsel of a pelvic floor therapist and a qualified medical professional who can diagnose conditions including vulvodynia and vaginismus.
3. If the toy becomes more comfortable: Remember to warm any silicone realistic under warm water to make it closer to body temperature, rather than cooler room temperature. Shake water off, and test with your fingertips before inserting the toy, just to be 100% sure it's not *too* hot for comfort.
This was my first dildo and I read that you're supposed to go a bit smaller than the real thing you might be used to. I went smaller, but this is too small. That's on me. The dual density silicone feels like the real thing. It does feel great. Just not the oomph I'm going for.
