I think what I've learned about myself from this wand is that I usually need more pinpoint stimulation. The first time I tried it, it seemed like the vibration was extremely diffused and not really getting where I wanted it to be (plus on the first vibration pattern, it absolutely will buzz your hand until it goes numb). It DOES seem to do well at getting things stimulated enough to make other toys then feel even better, however, and I did manage to get off with this wand and a dildo after the vibe I'd been using ran out of battery. I don't know how it compares to a Hitachi or similar, because I've never used one, but it seems like for broader vibration that has the option of being quite strong, it's a fantastic deal for the price, and the color is great too. EDIT: I just wanted to add, after using this wand a bit more, that it desperately needs some sort of indicator for when it's through charging. I can deal with how easily unseated the magnetic charger is, but only if I can also tell at a glance if its through or not. EDIT 2: So it died after about five uses, for only a handful of minutes each time. I charged it once when it got here, and then when it died mid-use, I attempted to charge it again (see edit 1, with no indication of if it's charging or when it's through), and the next time I tried to use it nothing at all happened, not even a rumble. Peepshow was kind enough to issue a refund, since it's a toy from overseas, and I spent the money on something with no moving parts that I knew I would benefit from!
