The most annoying aspect is that it isn't waterproof, which makes cleanup annoying. The waterproof version cannot be used while plugged in and I've read that it isn't as resonant which is an important factor for me. So, rechargeable one it is!
The silicone on the head is the weird kind. You know, the one that has a sort of texture and attracts lint like a magnet? That kind. But at least it's silicone instead of hard plastic and I won't demolish my bits by grinding into it.
The head of the Magic Wand is also wider, and notably not angled. The neck is flexible but stiff (good thing). The wider surface area has its own pros and cons depending on body shape, bits and pieces, mood, etc. I do wish an angled model existed though.
There are only 4 speed modes, no incremental adjustments, and 4 patterns. The buttons can be tricky to find when you're blindly fumbling for them in a stupor. I use googly eyes to add tactilemarkers, and for a highly entertaininguse case.
